Bianca is a clinical hypnotherapist who trained at The Academy of Hypnotic Science, the largest training school in clinical hypnotherapy in Australia, recognised by the Australian Skills Quality Authority. It was at the Academy that she met Dr Gordon Emmerson and felt an instant connection with the unique and powerful style of healing that Resource Therapy offers.

Bianca has a special interest in working with people who experience eating disorders, disordered eating, and the intersecting issues of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and gut-health which so often present for people in these spaces. She is the founder of Freedom from Food, an eating disorder recovery centre which specialises in the treatment of all disordered eating, weight dissatisfaction, body image, and gut or digestion issues. Freedom from Food provides in-person and online therapy, as well as a range of online programs.

Bianca has completed courses with The Australian Centre for Eating Disorders and The Inside Out Institute, and she is an approved practitioner with Australia’s national eating disorder advocacy body, The Butterfly Foundation.

Bianca is trained to provide treatment for a range of presenting issues including but not limited to anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, muscle or body dysmorphia, chronic dieting, weight or body image dissatisfaction, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, and depression.

Embracing and utilising the principles of intuitive eating, body acceptance, and the non-diet approach, Bianca enjoys helping her patients carve out their road to recovery. Working with them to ascertain their unique goals in therapy, Bianca focuses on assisting patients to cultivate a healthy and balanced relationship with food, their body and body image, as well as body function.

Bianca is a registered member of the longest running association for hypnotherapists in Australia, The Australian Hypnotherapists’ Association (AHA), as well as The Hypnotherapy Council of Australia (HCA), The Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED), and The Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH).
